Research and Development

Cooneen Defence Ltd are at the forefront of product design and development in the military and police clothing markets. Bringing together the expertise of its in-house design and development team, and with links to research and development partners across the world, Cooneen Defence are investing heavily in new fabric and garment solutions, to bring greater comfort, durability and wearability to its clothing solutions.


Cooneen Defence operate stringent quality control systems and procedures, which are independently accredited to ISO 9001:2008. Material and finished product testing is only carried out at UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited laboratories and test reports or specifications for individual items can be made available on request.

Account Management

Based in the UK, our account management team are in constant contact with existing and potential new customers, ensuring that their expectations are being met and exceeded. This can be evidenced by excellent customer references which are available on request.

Product Sourcing and Contract Management

At Cooneen Defence, we believe that we are only as good as our last delivery, and have built a stable and secure supply chain to ensure that we deliver the right product at the right price, on time, every time. Our UK-based product sourcing and contract management team actively manage this process, and have an excellent track record in achieving customer delivery and quality KPI’s. Modern supply chain management systems ensure visibility of stock, with customer access to this information readily available.

Warehousing and Logistics

The Cooneen Defence warehousing and logistics centre is based in the UK, and handles all incoming and outgoing stock. With 40,000 sq feet of secure storage, and facilities to handle hanging, boxed and pick and pack operations, the centre processes over five million stock units per annum, with peak weekly processing of over 150,000 stock units. The centre is fully e-enabled, and can facilitate intranet, EDI and XML stock transactions.
